I can’t get my printer to connect to the Funnel. What do I need to do?

Make sure you have installed and updated the firmware on your machine (using to the firmware menu on the printer). Ensure the printer has access to the internet. If you have a network firewall, the printer will need to be able to connect to the following services:

HTTPS Port 443:
        api.asiga.com
        auth.asiga.com
        *.s3.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com
Port 8883:
        iot.asiga.com

I’m not sure if my firewall is causing issues with connecting my printer to the Funnel. How do I know?

Use the Funnel diagnostic menu, each service will show a status. This will tell you which services are unable to establish a connection through any firewalls. You can find more info below:

https://asiga-funnel.helpscoutdocs.com/article/24-printer-connection-diagnostic-guide

The printer said it is connected to the Funnel but I can’t see it on the website.

If you have just enrolled a printer but you can only see a device with the name ‘Unavailable’, then restart the printer to resolve it.

If this does not solve the issue, use the Funnel Diagnostic option in the Connectivity menu and confirm all services can be contacted.

If all services are contactable, try reinstalling the firmware and enrolling the printer again in the Funnel.

The next step will be to get in touch with us and we can look at your printer debug logs to get more information. These logs can be found in the web interface, under System Information, debug information. Send us the text that is shown when you click the debug information.
